About Custom Ultrasonics

Our Mission

To serve the needs of healthcare professionals and the Infection Control community by providing dependable high quality products and excellent services, to foster education of IC principles and practices and through extensive R&D efforts develop and manufacture state-of-the art products to clean, high-level disinfect and store endoscopic instrumentation and related equipment/components.

Markets Served

Any healthcare setting including but not limited to Hospitals, Medical Centers, Outpatient Clinics, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, physician offices, etc. where endoscopy procedures are performed and endoscopic instrumentation require effective cleaning and high-level disinfection.

Our History

Recognizing the needs of the healthcare community and the inherent shortcomings associated with manual reprocessing methods for reusable medical devices, Custom Ultrasonics Inc. was established in 1978 to design, manufacture and distribute automated systems to clean and high-level disinfect complex devices including multi-channeled flexible endoscopes. These automated processes are standardized and have been validated using a patented, simulated in-use microbiological decontamination protocol under worst-case conditions. Utilizing proprietary low intensity sonic waves during the cleaning cycle, patient debris and contaminants are effectively dislodged and removed from instrument surfaces. To obtain optimum flow of reprocessing solutions (detergent, disinfectant, filtered rinse water, etc.) through each internal channel of an endoscope, individual channel adapters are used to ensure contact of fluid within channel surfaces. Current state-of-the art AERs have followed the lead of Custom Ultrasonics and have also developed one-on-one channel –adapter connectivity as well as feature channel monitoring capability to detect blocked lumens.

Endoscopy Management System

Custom UltraSonics is proud to have partnered with Endologistics Endoscopy Management System (EMS)  - a a software-based automated platform that simplifies the organization, planning and implementation of the complex task of managing an endoscopy environment with high-quality outcomes. EMS helps healthcare facilities meet the challenges of establishing a Quality Assurance and Safety Program and improves the quality of patient care.
